Leadership & Organizational Structure
CWGH has a 5-member Board of Directors, which formulates the organization’s policies and plays an advisory role in management decisions.
The organization’s day-to-day activities are coordinated by a Chief Executive Officer/Director, who provides overall supervisory oversight across all sub-sectors. Five main departments sit beneath this leadership, each headed by a director who advises on and takes responsibility for matters relating to their department:

Simon Azumah Asore
Chief Executive Officer & Founder, Citizens Watch Ghana
Simon Azumah Asore is a development practitioner, policy and human rights advocate, and the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Citizens Watch Ghana (CWGH). With over 20 years of experience in the Civil Society Organization (CSO) sector, he has led and implemented programmes in governance, human rights, gender equality, child protection, social accountability, and community development.
He holds an M.Phil. in Development Studies from the University for Development Studies (UDS), a Bachelor of Arts in French and Law from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and is fluent in both English and French.
Throughout his career, Simon has served in several leadership roles with NGOs and currently provides strategic leadership to Citizens Watch Ghana, working with stakeholders to promote good governance, policy reforms, and sustainable development. He also serves on several regional and national boards focused on education, child protection, HIV/AIDS, and civil society development.
He holds an M.Phil. in Development Studies from the University for Development Studies (UDS), a Bachelor of Arts in French and Law from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and is fluent in both English and French.

Gifty Yisazoa
Board Member, Citizens Watch Ghana
Gifty Yisazoa is a Midwife with the rank of Senior Midwifery Officer (SMO). Gifty began her health professional career at Word Alive Community Health Nursing Training School in Esiama in the Western Region.
She practiced her career as a Community Health Nurse for five years and enrolled into Mampong Midwifery Training School in the Ashanti Region.
She later pursued a Diploma Course in Midwifery at the University of Cape Coast ( Berekum Campus, Holy Family Nursing and Midwifery Training School) . Again after practicing her career for seven years she again enrolled at Garden City University in Kumasi for her Bsc. Midwifery Certificate.
Currently,she is the Midwife in charge of the Yawhima Health Center at Yawhima in Sunyani.

Joycelyn Adii
Board Member, Citizens Watch Ghana
Joycelyn Adii is a Ghanaian civil servant and gender and social development specialist with over 15 years of experience in gender equality, women's empowerment, social inclusion, environmental planning, and public sector administration. She serves as the Acting Regional Director and Principal Programme Officer at the Department of Gender, Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Bono Region.
Since joining the Department of Gender in 2011, she has progressed through several leadership roles, overseeing gender-responsive programmes, stakeholder capacity building, policy implementation, project monitoring and evaluation, and resource mobilization.
Joycelyn holds an MPhil in Environmental Planning and Development, an MA in Governance and Sustainable Development, and a BA in Integrated Development Studies. She has also completed professional training in gender mainstreaming, monitoring and evaluation, environmental management, women's peace and security, digital transformation, and social inclusion.
She has led and coordinated initiatives on gender equality, climate change, child protection, sexual and gender-based violence, women's leadership, reproductive health, and economic empowerment, working closely with government agencies, development partners, civil society organizations, traditional authorities, and communities across Ghana.

Cletus Aruk
Board Member, Citizens Watch Ghana
Cletus Aruk is a Technical Sales Officer and Community Development Specialist with over seven years of professional experience in sales, community development, stakeholder engagement, and resource management. He currently serves as a Technical Sales Officer at Olam Agri Ghana, where he leverages his expertise in commercial execution and sustainable development to drive market growth and strengthen business-to-business relationships.
Cletus built his professional career on a strong foundation in community development and resource management, combining practical field experience with strategic sales leadership. His expertise includes sales and territory management, stakeholder engagement, and the implementation of community-focused initiatives that promote sustainable development.
Academically, Cletus is currently pursuing a Commonwealth Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Development Studies (Environment and Resource Management) from the University for Development Studies and a Diploma in Community Development from the same institution.
Throughout his career, Cletus has remained committed to fostering impactful community initiatives while contributing to business growth through effective stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and sustainable resource management.

Agyeiwaa Nketiah
Board Member, Citizens Watch Ghana
Agyeiwaa Nketiah is the Adolescent Coordinator and Administrative Assistant at Citizens Watch Ghana (CWGH). She holds a Bachelor of Education in Social Science from the University of Cape Coast. Before joining CWGH, she interned as an Office Assistant at Perfect Love Compassion Development Center and completed her National Service at the Sunyani Municipal Assembly.
At CWGH, She coordinates adolescent-focused programmes, provides administrative support, and contributes to the planning and implementation of initiatives that promote youth development and community engagement.
She is passionate about empowering young people, supporting positive social change, and making a meaningful impact in her community.
